What is a Personal
Chef?
The personal chef is a food guide. The personal chef develops an understanding
of the specific dietary needs, food preferences, and nutritional requirements
of the individual families he or she serves. As a guide, the personal
chef researches recipe choices, maintains continual communication with
the clients, and offers them a variety of meals to accomplish their food
goals.

What
is the difference between a private chef and a personal chef?
A private chef is employed by one individual or family full time, and
is often living in and preparing up to 3 meals per day. A personal chef
serves several clients, usually one per day, and provides multiple meals
that are custom designed for the client's particular requests and requirements.
These meals are packaged and stored so that the client may enjoy them
at their leisure in the future.

Do you cook in
my kitchen?
Yes, I do prepare your meals in the safety of your own kitchen. On our
agreed upon cooking date I will bring the fresh ingredients for your meals
along with my own pots, pans, and utensils. We will discuss entry and
security issues at our initial assessment. At the end of the day I will
leave your kitchen clean and full of the aroma of good home cooking!
*If a fresh fish is to be served on "cooking
day"; the entree is prepared only once for that day.

How long will you
be there?
I'll be cooking several different entrees and side dishes from scratch,
so it will take several hours. I cannot say exactly how many hours: generally
2-4. However, I am most willing to work with your schedule or situation,
and make arrangements in advance so that my cooking date fits into your
schedule compatibly.

How often will you
come to my house to cook? Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
It's entirely up to you. Our standard plan provides enough dinners for
ten days and enough variety so you won't have to eat the same thing twice
in the same week. Most clients have us come out twice a month, others
once a month, and some only occasionally. Other personal chefs may require
you to sign a long-term contract - we only do that if you want to guarantee
our service on particular days over a certain period of time.

Do I have to be at
home when you come to cook?
No, as long as appropriate arrangements are made in advance.

How many meals
do you cook on "cooking day"?
Typically, a standard service provides two adults with 9*-10 dinner entrees
and some side dishes. Enough for two weeks
assuming you are consuming
Priceless Cuisine 5 out of 7 nights. Using 5 entree recipes and side dishes
to compliment; the meals are prepared to serve fresh and/or frozen. You
and your dining companion can enjoy the same meal twice within a two-week
period. Additional portions are added to the standard service to accommodate
the variety of family sizes!

Can you prepare
special diets?
Absolutely! Vegetarian, low fat, low cholesterol, diabetic - all delicious,
all for you!

I'm a picky eater;
will you adjust your recipes based on my likes and dislikes?
By all means! Before your first day of service we will ask you
a series of detailed questions to find out about your food preferences,
allergies, or other dietary requirements.
